Event

Starting from Grindleford, Derbyshire the route goes via Froggatt, Eyam, Great Longstone, Hassop, Chatsworth, Edensor, Baslow, Curbar Gap, Froggatt Edges and then back to Grindleford Pavillion. [Google Earth kml file for map] The event supports Grindleford Primary School and is organised by the school’s PTA - Parents, Teachers and Friends Association.

Obviously the pictures displayed on these pages are greatly reduced in size. This saves us lots of time when loading images after an event. Just as importantly this avoids unnecessary costs. These online images are provided as a free service.

The full-size pictures contain far more detail and show the full range of colours. All our new images measure at least 3850x2550 pixels (10mp); much larger than many of the running photos offered elsewhere and even larger than our 8mp in previous years. Enlarging these images to A3 size is normal and much larger posters from our originals are in use as commercial, point-of-sale advertising.

This level of detail makes for high quality prints but also means that we only load the pictures that you request to our PhotoBox galleries when you request them. There you can check the results without obligation. Any money from print sales is entirely used to help pay for the site’s running costs.
