Organised by the Macclesfield Harriers and Athletic Club with a specific web site for the Half Marathon. Event supported by the Cheshire Building Society and AstraZeneca with results at Joe Lee Computing and more race photos at Bryan Dale’s site.

Viewing Pictures

The 1,200 pictures from the race have been split into pages and can be accessed using the links on the left or below. The pictures are arranged in time sequence. No competitor details are recorded.

Start

Photos taken on the short loop near the start.

Finish

Photos taken near the entrance to the Leisure Centre. As a guide each of the Finish pages has an approximate time e.g. “to 11:47” covers from the end of the previous page up to 11:47. This will be out from your actual race time due to being some distance from the finish line and by not being synchronised with the starter.

Getting Prints

Obviously the pictures displayed on these web pages are greatly reduced in size, in order to save time when loading and browsing.

The full-size pictures are much larger, contain far more detail and have the full range of colours. This detail makes for high quality prints but also means that it would take too long to load them all up to the web.

So just the pictures that you request are loaded to our PhotoBox galleries for checking and printing. So only a small percentage of total are on our galleries - just see the Buying Pictures page for full details or simply e-mail the image reference to images@TAimages.com to have the full size picture loaded.
